How to Prepare Steamed Veggies

In Nigeria, we steam verdant green vegetables and serve it with most Nigerian Rice formulas: Jollof Rice, Coconut Rice, Rice and Beans, Concoction Rice, White Rice and Stew (counting Ofe Akwu). These steamed vegetables are additionally extraordinary with Fried Plantains and Nigerian Moi.




Fixings


  • You just need these 4 fixings.
  • 300g or medium cluster green verdant vegetables. You can utilize any of the accompanying:
  • Green Amaranth
  • Nigerian Pumpkin leaves (Ugu)
  • Spinach
  • 1 major onion
  • 1 habanero pepper (atarodo)
  • 1 little Knorr solid shape
Note 
  • You needn't bother with salt for this formula. The steamed veggies enhancement is all around prepared by the Knorr block.
Cooking Directions 
  • Wash and cut the vegetables, onion and pepper.
  • Set a spotless dry pot on the stove and set the warmth to medium.
  • Include the cut onion and pepper.
  • Pulverize and spread the Knorr 3D shape on the onion and pepper.
  • Include the cut vegetables.
  • Cover the pot and steam for 3 minutes. This is so that the vegetables are not overcooked.
  • Mix exceptionally well and it is finished.


Present with Jollof Rice, Coconut Rice, Rice and Beans, Concoction Rice, Fried Plantain or Nigerian Moi.
