BREAKING: President Buhari Arrives New York For UN General Assembly -Photos

President, Muhammadu Buhari has arrived New York, United States for the 72nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 72).
Recall, the President on Sunday morning, September 17, departed Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, for New York, to participate in the 72nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Mr Femi Adesina, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity confirmed the departure of Mr Buhari on his Facebook page, on Sunday, in Abuja.
Adesina posted:
“President Buhari departs Abuja to New York for 72nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly on Sept. 17, 2017.’’
The President arrived New York on Monday morning, September 18, the official Twitter handle of the Presidency disclosed the development on the micro-blogging site.
The handle tweeted:

” President @MBuharihas arrived New York for the 72nd Session of the @UN General Assembly #UNGA#UNGA72“, it added.
President Buhari would during the visit, participate in the General Debate where he was expected to deliver the country’s National Statement.
The theme for this year’s Debate is:
“Focusing on People: Striving for Peace and a Decent Life for All on a Sustainable Planet.”
Adesina, in an earlier statement issued in Abuja on Friday, said President Buhari would also join other world leaders at the welcoming reception to be hosted by the UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres.
The president, accompanied by the governors of Zamfara, Ebonyi and Ondo states as well as key cabinet ministers, would transit through London on his way back to the country.
