16 Habits That Will Improve Your Life Within A Year

Try reading for a set amount of time each day.
“If you read for 30 minutes every day, that’s 3.5 hours a week, which is enough to finish a book every two to four weeks. Depending on what you choose to read, that’s 12 to 24 books completed in a year!” —a_tame_zergling
2. Practice swapping “sorry” for “thank you” when the situation is right.
“I used to (and still do) have a problem with over-apologizing in basically every situation even when a serious apology isn’t needed. When you get into this kind of habit, it may seem reactive to just apologize for everything you do to try to please other people. It can affect your confidence and also degrade the way other people view you because you become the person who’s sorry for everything.
So, I’ve tried to consciously use ‘thank you’ to change that. Every time I get into a situation or catch myself about to say I’m sorry for something (that really doesn’t warrant a heartfelt apology), I look for a reason to say thank you instead. Running late for work? Say ‘thanks for your patience’ instead of ‘sorry I’m late.’ Not only does this keep you from looking like a sad sack for apologizing all the time, it actually shifts focus onto the person you’re apologizing to.” —GizmosArrow

3. Don’t just put things down, put them away.
“Wise words from my mate’s grandma: ‘don’t put it down, put it away.’ So much of the mess around my apartment was thanks to me leaving things out instead of taking the extra minute to put them away in their correct place.
I’m not perfect but this has helped!” —2funk2druck
4. And do your dishes every single day.
“Do your goddamn dishes every day and you wont feel f*cked up every two weeks with a pile of them.” —Mlkaan
5. If something’s going to take you less than two minutes, just do it then and there.
“Live by the rule if something takes two minutes or less to accomplish, just do it.
You’ll notice how many things really aren’t that bad, but also how much of your difficulty with accomplishing things is just a mental block.” —PoutineKing65
6. Try to go to bed and get up at similar times each day.
“Recovering insomniac here! Ensuring consistency in your sleep/rise times is one of the most important parts of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBTI). It makes waaaaay more of a difference than you’d first think.” —Alsedarna
7. Actually start flossing your teeth every day.
“Honestly, the sense of satisfaction when you answer ‘yes’ to the dentist about flossing daily after a lifetime of the guilty ‘no’ is well worth it. Plus, my mouth feels pretty decent now.” —gwarsh41
8. Put all of your spare change into a jar for an entire year.
9. Make a plan for the following day before you go to bed at night.
“Plan the next day before going to bed at night and write a to-do list. The next day before repeating the process, review your to-do list. It sounds really simple, but it’s a real procrastination buster.” —4noop
10. Practice a new kind of handwriting like cursive or calligraphy.
“Practice from an online cursive chart until you reach typing-like speeds, then integrate as many of the techniques and forms as you can into your printed handwriting. You don’t need to know cursive these days, but you’re not just learning cursive — you’re learning how to write quickly and fluidly, where and how to place extra lines for aesthetic reasons when needed, and where to start and end your strokes. If you’re tired of your handwriting looking like a 6-year-old’s, learn cursive. You may never use cursive again, but your printed handwriting will become Christmas-card worthy and three times as fast.” —Bartisgod
11. Learn three words in a new language every day.
12. Get into the habit of writing in a journal daily.
“It is cliché but it works. I used to do it, but when I felt like my life was on track I just stopped. It led to me falling into a lot of bad habits and being able to convince myself I was fine. Keeping a journal has a way of keeping you honest with yourself — you aren’t writing for anyone else. You aren’t trying to present your best self. You can just work through your thoughts honestly and openly. You can reflect in a way that you otherwise wouldn’t. You can just let it all out without worrying what that exposure and vulnerability will mean. It really helps. I’d recommend this to everyone, especially people with anxiety.” —7V3N
May I take this moment to recommend the journal I’ve been writing in daily for almost six years.
13. Run for as long as you can…and then run again the next day, and the next.
“Get a good pair of running shoes and take off! You would be surprised how easy it is to run five kilometers after a few weeks.” —Kookaburra2
14. Make your bed every morning before you leave the house.
“It’s the best thing to come home to. It almost feels like someone else made my bed, like I have a servant — except the servant was a very sleepy me that doesn’t remember making their bed. It looks nice, makes me happy, and I feel good.” —naznazem
15. Add new and healthy foods to your diet rather than focusing on removing other food groups.
“Instead of taking away something from your diet, add something healthy each month. In January, add an apple a day. In February, add a handful of plain almonds each day. In March, add one extra glass of water, and so on. You won’t feel deprived, and you will increase your healthy habits painlessly.” —PianoManFan
16. And try meditating, starting with just five minutes a day.
“Then work yourself up to 20 minutes a day. It’s the biggest change I have made in my life. It’s incredible how crazy and out of control our minds are, and as the old saying goes: if you don’t have 20 minutes to sit, you should sit for an hour.” —1976Hoosiers

Breaking News: The 1st Human Head Transplant Carried Out Successful In China

The world has recorded yet another powerful milestone in medicine. The world’s first human head transplant has been carried out on a corpse in China, according to an Italian Professor Sergio Canavero.

Dr Xiaoping Ren, who grafted a head onto the body of a monkey in 2016, carried out the operation, which took 18 hours. Italian Professor Canavero, who is the director of the Turin Advanced Neuromodulation Group, announced the success in a press conference in Vienna.

Prof. Canavero said:

“The first human transplant on human cadavers has been done. “A full head swap between brain dead organ donors is the next stage and that is the final step for the formal head transplant for a medical condition which is imminent.”

It had previously been hoped that 30-year-old Valery Spiridonov would be the first human to undergo the operation but the Russian decided he did not want to experience the surgery. Spiridonov had volunteered because he suffers from Werdnig-Hoffmann disease, which causes severe spinal muscular atrophy, and he was willing to try anything to prolong his life.

There had been an angry backlash to the potential surgery from religious groups, who said it was going against God. Spiridonov was fully prepared for the body to reject his head but it was also possible that fusing his head with another body – including the spinal cord and jugular vein – might result in never-before experienced levels of insanity.

Doctor Canavero said before the operation that he was anticipating it to be a 36-hour procedure that would involve 150 doctors and nurses.

Arthur Caplan, director of medical ethics at New York University’s Langone Medical Centre, had previously said that the bodies of head transplant patients “would end up being overwhelmed with different pathways and chemistry than they are used to and they’d go crazy”.

In 1970, a head transplant was successfully performed on a monkey. Well, it was sort of successful. The monkey lived, but only for eight days. The body rejected the new head and the monkey was left unable to breathe or move because the spinal cord of the head and body weren’t properly connected.

Hopefully, technology has advanced enough in the past 45 years.

See 6 surprising habits that can render you impotent

Impotence – the inability to achieve or maintain an erection, and in some cases the inability to achieve ejaculation, is one unfortunate problem that has the power to destroy homes and relationships due to the stress and emotional trauma it comes with.
While a good number of infertility/impotence cases can be linked to diseases or some other health related problems, studies have shown that there are many simple and seemingly harmless everyday habits of men that could induce it. Note that it usually manifests in form of erectile dysfunction, weak erection, premature ejaculation and the likes.
Here are 6 everyday habits that could be killing your sperm cells and affecting your sexual health without you even knowing:
1. Smoking:
Smoking adverts usually come with a warning that ‘tobacco smoking is dangerous to health’, many people overlook this warning and still indulge in the habit; what most people don’t know is that in addition to the risk of cancer, smoking also affects your chances of producing healthy sperm and could cause problems in your bedroom performance over time – problems like premature ejaculation and even weak erections.These can however be fixed by quitting the habit and using appropriate treatments;
2. Alcohol consumption:
Excessive alcohol consumption is also a habit that can really mess up a man’s sexual and reproductive health. While it may seem like a harmless everyday habit to many, it’s effect on fertility and sexual performance can be saddening.Don’t be deceived by the temporary highness it comes with, excessive alcohol can be cause of your low bedroom performance
3. Wearing tight underwear and trousers:
This is one point that too many men take for granted; there is absolutely no good reason to keep your manhood choked up with very tight underwear, shorts or trousers – wear them in your size! The right size to wear is the one that lets your organ breathe without bending it in uncomfortable positions that end up ruining your performance and fertility.
4. Stress:
Stress has a way of affecting your overall health. Physical and mental stress causes an unhealthy mind and subsequently, an unhealthy body. Stress is also one of the biggest problems that can affect a man’s performance and fertility over time.Take time to let go of the stress, do not think too much, work hard but find time to rest both body and mind – this point cannot be overemphasized!
5. Unhealthy eating habits and malnutrition:
Nutrition is very vital for the overall health of a man; don’t just eat a lot of food, eat the right kinds of food, try to balance your diet; you don’t even have to spend too much for this. Be sure your diets include the vital classes of food. Various supplements also exist to make up for vital nutrients you may be lacking.A healthy body produces healthy sperms and with the right solutions you can enhance your sexual health.
6. Drug abuse:

See the 10 foods you Never and shouldn’t eat at night….

baasRead:

1. Cheese

Cheese is fattening and easy to over-eat on.Cheese should be eaten in very strict
moderation. Cheese is high in saturated fat and cholesterol, and too much of it can increase your risk of heart disease.
2. Citrus
Too many fruits can lead to gas at night, and makes digestion more complicated because sugar ferments. If you must eat some fruit before bed, try not to eat more than a cup.

3. Spicy Food

Spicy or hot foods stimulate your senses, and they have the ability to give heartburn or contribute to an upset stomach, and no one wants that before bed.
4. Fatty Food
Pizza, burgers and French-fries taste great, but they aren’t great to your body, so don’t eat them at night. They can mess up your digestive system and help you pack on the pounds. You’ll feel horrible the next day, zapped of the energy you need to make your day productive.

5. Red Meats

Red meats are hard to digest. That’s why you shouldn’t eat them at night. It will be harder to fall asleep if you do eat red meat directly before bed.

6. Cereals

It is very difficult to follow serving suggestions for cereal, so if you’re watching your weight, it’s best to eat it in the morning but not late at night.

7. Vegetables

I know I threw you off with my suggestion to lay off of fruits and citrus before bed, but you are probably shocked vegetables make the list. Some vegetables are not ideal to eat before bed. Celery, for example, celery is a diuretic. According to this article, a diuretic increases the rate of urination.
It’s counter-productive to eat these types of vegetables, because you’ll be waking up more than usual at night to use the restroom instead of getting a good rest.
8. Junk Food
Chips and salsa, popcorn, and all that other comfort food. Let it go. It’s not helping you sleep better, lose weight, or be healthy.

9. Sweets

Put down that ice cream cone, candy bar, or piece of chocolate, because they are officially off limits before bed! Yes, these things can be considered comfort foods, but these same comfort foods are loaded with fat! Sugar also keeps you up longer! It’s not the type of combination you want while you’re trying to go to bed!
10. Bread
Unless you’re trying to gain weight, eating bread before going to bed is a horrible idea.
The carbs in bread can make you hungrier at night, and cause you to overeat.
Confused? Then explore the internet and check out other suggestions. Many of the things I’ve listed here, are the same things health experts elsewhere will tell you to avoid.
Some things weren’t listed here because they were obvious or not considered food, but here are some other suggestions: do not drink alcohol before bed, do not drink too much water before bed, and be sure to not drink coffee before bed. Soda also follows under the do-not-drink directly before bed list. Some experts suggest not eating at all three to four hours before bed.

Home Health 8 Yoga Poses You Can Do in 8 Minutes To Relieve Back Pain 8 Yoga Poses You Can Do in 8 Minutes To Relieve Back Pain

Numerous people lead a sedentary lifestyle in today’s world, and it can cause tight hips and impede mobility. Therefore it is of high importance to maintain the flexibility of the hips.

Tight hips can cause various issues, including:
Poor Balance and Posture – The front of the hips, the hip flexor, is a major stabilizer of the pelvis. Therefore, if the hip flexors are weakened, it can lead to imbalance and poor body posture.
Muscle Imbalances – The extended periods of sitting shorten and tighten the hip flexors. In a sitting position, the glutes and the hip extensors are being overstretched, but they are also weakened as not all muscle groups are used.
Back Pain – The tight hip flexors and the overstretched muscles will force the pelvis to be pushed forward, unnaturally tilted, and thus pull the muscles of the lower back.
If you are spending most of your time sitting, you could benefit a lot from doing these stretching exercises. They will improve the hip mobility and increase your power. Moreover, you will boost the flexibility of your hips.
Low Lunge
In a runner’s lunge position, place the right foot forward, while the hands should be placed on the sides of it. Then, lower the back knee and shin to the floor, and raise the chest and arms, while the hands remain the front thigh.
The abdominal muscles should be constantly engaged. For an enhanced effect, reach the arms overhead, and lean forward a bit. Make sure you do not to arch the lower back. Hold for 3half a minute and repeat on the opposite side.

Go on sinking and squaring off the hips, and hold for half a minute on both sides.
Happy Baby Pose

Then, pull the left knee towards the chest, and thus threading the right hand between the legs. The clasped hands should be underneath the left knee, while the right one is open in order to stretch the hip. Breathe deeply and remain thus for half a minute.

Butterfly Pose

In a standing position, with the knees, slightly bent, and the hands by the sides bring the soles together and open the knees to the sides. For a deeper stretch, pull the feet closer in or fold forwards and walk your hands out in front of you. Remain in this position for half a minute.
Half Pigeon Pose
Start in a runner’s lunge with the right foot in front, and the hands on its sides on the mat. Slide the front foot towards the left hand, and lower the knee over to the right hand. You should then put the right calf on the ground to be parallel to the front of the mat.
Then, gradually lower the back knee and shin to the floor. Then, square the hips to the mat’s front. For a deeper stretch, lower down to the forearms. Hold for half a minute and repeat on the other side. In case you experience pain or discomfort while doing this stretch, you should only do Thread the Needle

Important Health Benefits of Cucumber Aside the ‘Other Room’

Since the lesbian s*x tapes of Miss Chidinma Okeke, the Anambra beauty queen leaked on social media, most Nigerians have developed a bastardized view of the Cucumber fruit due to its usage by some ladies for pleasure acts.

If you’d like to make your diet healthier by adding more vegetables to your meals, cucumbers are a great choice. Cucumbers are widely used in traditional diets as well as spas across the world for a reason: They are good for health.
It would be recalled that in the last two weeks, some Nigerian ladies and women have shied away from purchasing Cucumbers since the usage by Chidinma Okeke and a ‘lover’ for s*xual acts which before then has been rampant on the down-low.
In this post, cucumbers are said to have the following benefits: potential anti diabetic, antioxidant activity, cleansing action of toxins and waste, soothing effect against skin irritation, and prevention of constipation. And here are 10 health benefits of cucumbers in more details.

1. Help you stay hydrated
Cucumbers are 95.2 percent water, which means that a 5-ounce serving contains 4.8 ounces or 150 ml water. That’s already about 26 percent of your daily water intake through food.
2. Support heart health
Cucumbers contain potassium (152mg per cup), which can help lower blood pressure. A review of the best studies conducted on potassium intake showed that a higher intake “is associated with lower rates of stroke and might also reduce the risk of total cardiovascular disease.”
As less than 2 percent of U.S. adults consume the recommended 4,700 mg potassium per day, eating cucumbers is an easy way to start increasing your potassium consumption.
3. Protect your brain from neurological diseases
An anti-inflammatory substance called fisetin is present in cucumbers, as well as strawberries and grapes.
It has recently been suggested that fisetin plays an important role in brain health: It would have “the ability to reduce the impact of age-related neurological diseases on brain function,” and it would also help maintain cognitive function in people with Alzheimer’s disease.

4. Protect your skin against the effects of aging
There is a reason why cucumbers are used in skin care: They have been shown to be effective as a potential anti-wrinkle agent in cosmetic products, protecting our skin form the effects of aging.

5. Fight inflammation in the body and reduce the risk of cancer
Cucumbers can help lower the inflammatory response in the body. They contain polyphenols called lignans, which can potentially reduce the risk of certain cancers and cardiovascular diseases.
They also contain plant nutrients called cucurbitacins, which have anti-cancer properties: “Scientists have already determined that several different signaling pathways required for cancer cell development and survival can be blocked by activity of cucurbitacins.”
6. Relieve pain
Flavonoids, which are anti-inflammatory substances, and tannins in cucumbers have both been shown to limit the release of free radicals in the body and to reduce pain.

As explained in the Journal of Young Pharmacists, “traditionally, this plant is used for headaches; the seeds are cooling and diuretic, the fruit juice is used as a nutritive and as a demulcent in anti-acne lotions.”
7. Reduce bad breath
Bad breath is usually caused by bacteria in the mouth. Fiber and water-rich vegetables like cucumbers can boost your mouth’s saliva production, which in turn helps wash away the bacteria that cause the odor in the mouth.

8. Protect your bones
Cucumber are a good source of vitamin K: One cup contains 22 percent of the recommended daily intake of vitamin K. This vitamin is essential for bone health, as low vitamin K intakes have been associated with a higher risk for bone fracture. Vitamin K is also important for improving calcium absorption in the bones.
9. Prevent constipation
Cucumbers are rich in water, and their skin contains insoluble fiber. Both water and fiber help food to move through the digestive tract quicker and more easily, helping prevent constipation.

10. Maintain a healthy weight
Cucumbers are very low in calories (16 calories per cup) and they also contain fiber in the skin. And foods that contain fiber can help maintain a healthy weight.

See What Happens Inside Your Body Any Time You Eat Pork Meat (Watch The Video)

The consumption of pork is forbidden in some religions. Pigs are the animals that consume the most disgusting things you can imagine such as spoiled foods, feces and urine. The worst thing is that the toxins they consume can not be eliminated from their bodies, so they actually accumulate in their organs and fat.
Yersinia enterocolitica represents a dangerous contaminant which can be present in the pig’s body. It causes diarrhea, vomiting, cramps, fever and sickness. Ractopamine is another microorganism found in animal’s body which can even cause death.
Loss of appetite and contamination issue can be caused by Taenia solium – found in the pig’s intestines. Fever, myalgia, malaise and edema can be also caused by the parasitic roundworm Trichinella. Chills, sweating and migraine are usually caused by the
Menangle infection. Nausea and fatigue is often caused by the Hepatitis E viral irritation.
The intestinal parasites in pigs need to be destroyedin order to avoid all of these health issues. By cooking the pork at high temperatures you can destroy them. Products which can be eaten raw mustn’t be put with raw pork. After touching a raw pork, do not forget to wash your hands and when you buy pork meat, make sure it has no medications, anti-toxins, ractopamine and chemicals in it.
However, the doubt about this meat still exists even when the pork is properly cooked because these animals consume many substandard foods. You can increase the risk of many diseases by consuming pork. In the production of pork meat, pigs from factory are those generally used.
But many factory farms do not offer clean air for pigs, sufficient sunlight and clean pastures. They give pigs medications and anti-infection agents as food instead of green grass, which make them grow and age faster.

As we’ve already mentioned above, most of the pigs in the farms are surrounded by their vomit, feces and urine. They actually develop pneumonia before being slaughtered because their feces and urine contain ammonia. Pigs also various skin issues because of the unhealthy environment.
The consumption of pork can cause many side effects. All of these are just a few conditions. If you really want to buy pork, research about the origin.
You can see the consequences of eating pork on the video below!

You Will Never Take Your Phone Into The Toilet With You Again After Reading THIS!!!(See Shocking Truth)

You may be putting yourself in serious danger each time you take your phone to the toilet. Experts have now found reasons why you should not take your phone to the toilet.
Taking a newspaper into the toilet is so 20th century. These days, people are more likely to flick through their newsfeed.
We all do it sometimes (admit it) even though it’s obvious sitting and scrolling isn’t the most hygienic activity. But it is really that bad? We asked three scientists about the dangers, and how to reduce the risk of picking up harmful bacteria.

Firstly, the bad news. It is a pretty minging habit, and you could be exposing yourself and others to germs like salmonella, E. Coli and C. Difficile by using your phone in the loo.
The main worry is if you wipe yourself, touch the flush or the lock then touch the phone without washing your hands (and as you need to carry it out the cubicle, that could happen quite easily.) But even just leaving it on the side could expose it to dangerous bugs. Uh oh.
You can protect yourself, though.
If you don’t want to give up those precious moments of ‘me time’, just be sensible about it.
Hygiene expert Dr Lisa Ackerley told Metro you could do a risk assessment (stay with us).

‘Read the book or phone in your right hand, then transfer it to the left,’ she said. ‘Wipe with your right, flush with the right, carry the book or phone out in your left hand without touching anything else and then wash your hands. Be aware of what your hands are touching.’
‘If you wipe your bum then pick up your phone, you may as well not bother washing your hands because all the bacteria you put on your phone will end up back on your hands,’ Dr Ackerley said. They might be your germs. They might be somebody else’s from the flush.’
Dr Ron Cutler, director of biomedical science degrees at Queen Mary’s University London, said: ‘Basically, you just shouldn’t (take your phone into the toilet) if you are at all concerned about the transfer of viruses and fecal contamination.’
He said that levels of contamination vary widely depending on where the toilet is. A small office may not be a problem, but a hospital or a cruise ship where viruses may be circulating are different.
Using it in your own bathroom isn’t too bad as you can’t get ill from your own fecal bacteria (but you could make someone else ill).
Taking it into a public bathroom risks lots of other germs floating around.
Are bugs just transferred by hands? That is the main way, but not the only way.

‘Spray could travel around six feet from the flush,’ Dr Ackerley said. That’s why you shouldn’t leave your toothbrush close to the toilet.
Theoretically, you could flush the toilet and tiny droplets could drift up and land on your phone, or on a surface your phone might touch.
If the toilet has a lid, put it down before you flush

For this reason, it’s best not to put your phone down on the toilet roll holder or any shelf that might be there.
Instead, put it back in your pocket or inside your bag when it’s time to clean yourself – but make sure the bag is on a hook rather than the floor.
How long could my phone be contaminated?
Germs could survive up to a couple of days on your phone.

‘Phones heat up a little bit giving bacteria a nice warm environment,’ Dr Ron Cutler said. ‘If people handle sweets and leave a sticky coating on the phone, that’s an even better place for bacteria.
‘The levels are, generally speaking, quite small. But you can contaminate your hands pretty badly without trying too hard.’
Should I just get a decontamination suit? Val Curtis, director of the Environmental Health Group at London School of Hygeine and Tropical Medicine, said she didn’t think using phones on the loo is SUCH a problem.
I would say you can carry on. ‘It’s important to get in perspective that there are germs everywhere’, she told Metro. ‘The question is really, ‘Could it make someone else sick?’
As you can’t get ill from your own germs, you won’t be in danger of passing yourself a bug from your own fecal matter. But you could pass it to someone else who borrows your phone – or you could pick up someone else’s bug from, say, the flush or the cubicle lock.
Dr Curtis said we risk getting obsessed with cleanliness and worrying so much we harm ourselves – when the real thing we need to worry about is dirty hands, not dirty phones.
So basically, don’t forget the soap and water and you should be fine.

This is generally the first thing that happens on any part of the body that isn’t lucky enough to be covered with clean clothes, but it can be particularly annoying when it happens around your lady parts. Unwashed panties
can irritate the skin, making you want to scratch like a crazy person at all hours of the day.
It happens because of the bacterial buildup in the fabric of the underwear, which transfers to your sensitive skin down there. While this particular side effect isn’t something to be very worried about, if you don’t do something about it, that irritation could result in something more serious than having to scratch yourself incognito.
2. Your S3@.x:’ual Organ Will Start To Smell Different :
This is another serious case, Yep, you’ve got scents coming from your S3@.x:’ual organ, There is really nothing weird about it but the smells that are trying to send you a message. Listen to your down part. Your nostrils may encounter something musty or otherwise different down under due to the lack of fresh air your V@.g!na is getting from the days-old panties. That jade garden of yours needs plenty of oxygen; the longer you wear the same underwear, the less it gets, meaning the more likely it is for odd scents to accumulate.
3. Develop Sores And Rashes :
First comes the itchiness, and then comes the sore or rash. Because the boxers have been out and about for so long, the not-so-clean material will chafe your skin. When ignored, it can lead to visible protrusions or redness, neither of which are pleasant to deal with. They’re treatable, so don’t worry, but you probably don’t want to subject yourself to the trouble in the first place. This means the bacteria on your undies are starting to work their butts off, and they won’t be going anywhere unless you kick them out. A common type of rash you might see as a result is a heat rash. It’s extremely uncomfortable and itchy, and it can lead to something more lasting if you don’t get it looked at by a medical professional and change into a fresh pair of panties.
4. Yeast Infections :
This is especially likely to happen if you have sweat in the panties or boxers you’ve been sitting in for a few days. Underwear that’s been perspired in needs to be changed on a regular basis, similarly to how you can’t sit around in a wet bathing suit for too long. Yeast and bacteria thrive in moist environments, so don’t give them the chance to multiply into an obnoxious infection.
If you’re the kind of woman who prefers non-cotton underwear but don’t change it that often, you’re at an even higher risk of getting an infection. Underwear made of nylon and lace (even if it has a cotton crotch) trap heat more than cotton does, so recycling those over and over again won’t make your S3@.x:’ual part very happy. The yeast will subsequently grow like crazy, and eventually force you to see your doctor.
5. You May Develop a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) :
for women,If you’ve never had a UTI, you’re a lucky woman. These infections occur when bacteria crawl their way up into the urinary tract, and that can happen in many different ways. For example, if you’ve had the same panties or boxers on for a while, there’s a chance that particles of feces have settled into the fabric. If those germs mosey their way around to the wrong home, you’ll be slammed with a UTI and have to visit your doctor.
Changing your undies often and washing them in hot water will kill those mean bacteria and prevent infections from happening to your innocent, lovely V@.g!na. So rock all 34 pairs by changing them often you might as well.

Reasons Why Having Lots of S*x Is Good for You

Finally, some good news. s*x makes work better, according to a study out of Oregon State University, and it does so equally for men and women. Of 159 married employees who filled out surveys, those who had s*x reported better moods the next day, the effects of which appeared to last at least a full 24 hours. And, go figure, being in a better mood led to more reported engagement and satisfaction on the job. (The reason for the uptick in mood was not determined, just the correlation.)
“Making a more intentional effort to maintain a healthy s*x life should be considered an issue of human sustainability, and as a result, a potential career advantage,” said study author Keith Leavitt in a press release.
And while it is remarkably un-shocking that s*x can benefit people, the idea that purposefully including s*x as a regularly scheduled practice is definitely a newer trend—as is mindfulness in general. s*x, after all, releases the good brain chemicals that make daily life that much more enjoyable: dopamine and oxytocin. You can’t easily overdose on those, so why not get them in circulation more?
Here’s more evidence that an active s*x life should in fact be a health priority—just in case you needed a reason.
A Healthy Lifespan
A recent study found that women who reported s*xual activity during a week-long trial period had longer telomeres. Yes, telomeres, the protective caps on the ends of chromosomes that shorten due to age and outside stress, making them a pretty good indicator of health and even premature mortality. The study wasn’t big enough to conclude that having s*x slows the aging process. But then again, it doesn’t disprove that, either.
A Healthy Marriage
A new study published in Psychological Science found that newlywed couples reported 48 hours of “s*xual afterglow,” or relationship and s*xual satisfaction, after having s*x—no matter how often they had it. Those who glowed the most were more satisfied in their marriages from the start, as well as four and six months down the road, leading researchers to believe s*x strengthens “pair bonding” in couples.
Though recent research found that frequent s*x leads to a higher risk of heart attack, heart failure, or stroke in men over the age of 57—but not older women—the cardiovascular health of younger men still stands to benefit from s*x. According to a 2010 study, men who reported having s*x at least twice a week were 45 percent less likely to suffer a cardiovascular disease than men who only had s*x once a month or less.
A Healthy Prostate
In an enormous study of 32,000 men over 18 years, researchers found that frequent Release was correlated with lower instances of prostate cancer. For example, men in their forties who ejaculated at least 21 times a month were 22 percent less likely to develop prostate cancer than those who ejaculated only 4 to 7 times a month. (Release doesn’t necessarily imply s*x, but close enough.)
A Healthy Immune System
Weekly s*x has been linked to higher levels of immunoglobulin A in saliva, which helps the body fight off cold viruses—even if having more s*x would seem to indicate a greater risk for spreading seasonal bugs.
The Average s*x Time Is Not as Long as You’d ThinkA Healthy Dose of Vanity
Over 10-year study, a panel of judges was asked to guess the ages of a group of 3,500 men and women, and one group of participants was consistently estimated to be seven to 12 years younger than their actual age. These “superyoung” participants reported having more active s*x lives than other age groups, around one more time a week on average than the control group’s average.
A Healthy Brain
A study conducted among young women ages 18 to 29 found that those who more frequently had penetrative s*x were better at remembering words than those who didn’t. The study authors believed that because s*x helps stimulate the growth of new brain cells in the memory-storing hippocampus, s*x gave short-term memory a boost.
A Healthy Outlook
Regular s*x has regularly been linked to lower stress levels, related to higher oxytocin levels. This circles back to job satisfaction as reported in the most recent study: In 2014 Americans said work injects the second most amount of stress into their lives, right after money. Plus, all these aforementioned benefits help people live longer—and wouldn’t you know, s*x is also linked to longevity, which gives everyone more time to have fulfilling jobs and partake in fulfilling s*x.
