Police Officers Torture 20-Year-Old Guard To Death In Ogun State (Photo)

Jubril Mohammed
Four police officers have landed in serious trouble after they reportedly tortured a 20-year-old guard, Jubril Mohammed to death.

The Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 2, Lawal Shehu, on Monday, paraded four cops, who were allegedly involved in the death of a 20-year-old guard, Jubril Mohammed, Punch has reported.

The parade happened after members of the deceased’s family and a rights group, Committee for the Defence of Human Rights, Lagos State, protested Jubril’s death at the zonal office in Onikan, Lagos.

PUNCH Metro had reported that Jubril worked as a security guard at Barka Nigeria Limited, Magboro, Ogun State.

He was arrested by policemen from the Ibafo Police Station over the alleged theft of some company goods.

The victim had reportedly fingered some workers of the company for the crime, saying they had earlier sought his cooperation for a dubious deal.

After his father allegedly paid N30,000 to the police in Ibafo, he was released on bail.

However, a few days after, the victim was rearrested, as the case was transferred to the Zonal Intervention Squad, Obada, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

His father, Ibrahim Mohammed, told Punch that when he visited his son at the ZIS office, he could not recognise him because he had been severely tortured.

A co-suspect, Muhammed, also said he witnessed the torture of the 20-year-old and sometimes carried him from the torture chamber whenever he could not walk.

He alleged that the police team had taken a snapshot of all of the suspects last Monday when Jubril collapsed and was rushed to a hospital where he died.

The zonal police spokesperson, Dolapo Badmos, announced on Sunday that the policemen who handled the case had been detained.

The CDHR and the deceased’s family members, however, held a protest on Monday, demanding justice for Jubril.

The Chairman, CDHR, Lagos State, Alex Omotehinshe, said the group would follow the case to the end.

He said, “It is against the fundamental human rights of a suspect to be tortured before facts or information can be obtained from him. We believe that if we don’t hold this protest, the police will conduct this case as an underground investigation and at the end of the day, they will come up with a different story. They may say they have disciplined the officers and you will see the culprits moving around.

“Our main concern is to get justice for the young man, who was innocent of the charges. We want to give this case proper monitoring. As the police have set up their committee, we are going to monitor everything. We are going to make it a day-to-day activity. We will monitor the autopsy process, the outcome of the police investigation and the role the officers played in this case.”

The victim’s cousin, Saheed Isa, said the police paraded the four cops, who were being detained at the zonal office, before Jubril’s family members.

He noted that Jubril’s father identified two of them.

Isa said the police later led the family members to Abeokuta to see Jubril’s corpse in a morgue.

BREAKING NEWS; Mysterious Fish Swallows N52m again in Abia State

The 52 million naira which was meant for the South East Entrepreneurship Development Centre (SEEDC) contract job and renovation of Women Development Centre has been swallowed by a mysterious fish.
Igbere Tv gathered that the contract was given to Phrenemos Int Ltd and was supervised by the current Abia State SSG, Dr. Eme Okoro who is very close to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.
It was reported that before now there had been news of the SSG mismanagement of financial transactions & requests for kickbacks from contractors but this shocking revelation was the last straw which broke the camel’s back as a mysterious fish has been alleged to have swallowed the whole obey meant for the job.
Upon investigations, it was gathered that the SSG who was instructed by Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu to oversee the job told the MD of Phrenemos Int Ltd to open a UBA account with one Glory Emucha in the pretence that UBA is the bank Abia State government is dealing with, not knowing the reason is for access into his account.
Weeks later, the MD of Phrenemos Intl Ltd, Engr Emma Uche Adimoha approached UBA to know the status of his account in respect of the contract payment and discovered the unbelievable.
Adimoha was told that a mysterious fish has swallowed the whole money.
He discovered that N2m was paid in to the account but was swallowed by the fish without his knowledge, meanwhile jealous had started using his personal funds in facilitating the project.
He also discovered that a financial project report was sentvtl the governor detailing that over N15million that was released has been used for the project.
This simply means that the government actually released N15million for the project but N2m was deposited into Phrenemos Int Ltd’s account which was withdrawn without his concentrate and the remaining diverted.
The DSS already made some arrests in connection to the fraudulent activities and Gov Okezie’s government is already gathering bad image based on fraud issues.
It may be recalled that within the country N36m was reportedly swallowed by a snake in JAMB office and a monkey also allegedly swallowed public funds only few weeks ago.

6 Reasons Why People Engage In Yahoo Yahoo Internet Fraud

6 Reasons Why People Engage In Yahoo Yahoo Internet Fraud

Well known to all even before I mention, this issue of yahoo boys (internet fraudsters) is really pathetic. And the funny thing which is also a bitter truth is that they spend valuable time on this illegal exhibition that they would rather have spent on a more legit and profitable make money online endeavor.
Needless to say that they’ve got several tactics they utilize, trust me, they never run out of ideas!
If you are a frequent internet user, you would have at some points in your online surf come across some posts that look too good to be true and at the same time too tempting to be ignored.
Yahoo Yahoo Internet Fraud has gone far way more than just dating sites scams, dudes are littered everywhere on the world wide web looking for unsuspecting preys.
But is it really worth it? Damn right, you might say YES! But taking a good look at it from a right mindset, I ask you again, is it really worth it?
6 Reasons Why People Engage In Yahoo Yahoo Internet Fraud
Let’s take a swift look into some 6 Reasons Why People Engage In Yahoo Yahoo Internet Fraud
When a typical young man sees his secondary school best friend stunning with designer shoes on Instagram, For real? I was better than this dude!
That’s the thought that flies through his mind. Or when a rich dude comes around and maneuvers off with his girlfriend, then that feeling of “I must be rich” comes up his head. And if you want to be rich by force, is Yahoo Yahoo Internet Fraud the best idea?
Let’s leave the answer for a later date.
The Yoruba people will call it “Ojukokoro“. It is that intense and selfish desire for something, in this case, wealth.
When you simply want the whole world to yourself without proportional effort put in. Then to them, the fastest way to this is Internet Fraud, which even in reality is not as easy as it seems.
This is a feeling of severe despondency and dejection often caused by unfortunate circumstances that negatively affects how you feel, the way you think and how you act.
It might be subsequent to oppression, which got a young man thinking deeply about his life, then resort to Yahoo Yahoo Internet Fraud as a means to live a better life.
This is the tendency to be restless. No foresight. The crave for rocket science and the wanting of magical effects in all situations.
Humans should understand that if life was so easy and if goodies came in a rush, there would be no need to do the things we do on daily basis. We need to take it as it comes, doing the right thing the right way, it might take time, but the right time will always be the right time.
The inability to calm down and wait for results subsequent to a positive action often lead to wrong actions, Yahoo Yahoo Internet Fraud, in this case.
This is a very serious shortage of purchasing power or of access to the range of resources that provide the basic necessities of life, such as food and shelter.
In cases like this, coupled with some other factors, some are left with no other alternative but to go illegal, pathetic!
I was thumbing through Naijaloaded the other day and I saw a thread that read “I want to become a G boy, I have been unemployed for 5 years after graduating, I need someone to teach me“.
I couldn’t find my way to the thread again, would have dropped a link or probably screenshot.
It’s no news that the state of the nation in terms of job opportunities is bad, but that still doesn’t act as enough justification to do the G, as popularly called.
All said, none of this is enough justification to engage in internet scam.
There are loads of Internet Businesses that are legit. Let’s spend our days building a better nation, not spoiling our already crumbling reputation.
This is my piece, don’t forget to share with friends.

Broke guys cannot buy a sex doll – Actress Maryam Charles

Delectable Nollywood Actress and filmmaker, Maryam Charles has presented her own opinion on the trending sex doll topic, and she is of the school of thought that the dolls can never take the place of a “real girlfriend.” And broke guys cannot even afford the sex doll.
In a post she made on her Instagram today, Maryam Charles says the sex dolls are not even meant for guys that are not loaded as each costs a whooping N800,000.

More @ https://audiencegist.us

Maryam Charles also stated the things that a real girlfriend can do, but a doll can’t
She says:
“To all the men celebrating the new s*x doll and throwing shades at women, this is for you.
A responsible man will not go on social media to celebrate man-made doll because it has been carefully designed to have intercourse, y’all need to grow up and stand up to your responsibilities.
Even the doll that is making you happy is not designed for broke guys! It’s cost about N800,000 without the addition of the maintenance cost, yet you feel this is a better replacement to your girlfriends? What madness!
If you want to wake up, have a lady next to you and stay happy, you have to take good care of the lady, that’s when she can happily have sex with you and be meaningful. There are lots of things sex doll will never do for you, its high time we started facing reality with ourselves.
Will the doll give you a kiss when you’re leaving home for office?
Will the doll call you to check up on you during office hours?
Will the doll give you a welcome back kiss?
If you’re disturbed, will the doll advice you?
The list continues like that… wise up and be a true man not a ‘doll’ man”

EFCC reveals how Patience Jonathan stole $15.5m

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has told the Federal High Court in Lagos how former First Lady Patience Jonathan got the $15.5million which she claims ownership of.

In its defence to her suit challenging the freezing of her accounts, the commission argued that Mrs Jonathan does not run any business from which she could have earned such huge sums.

EFCC said its investigations showed that the money was allegedly stolen from the Federal Government and its agencies, and that it does not belong to the former First Lady.

“There is no way the plaintiff (Mrs Jonathan) could have genuinely earned the monies. She is the wife of the former president, a civil servant and a retired permanent secretary in Bayelsa State.

2019 Election Is Either Buhari or Atiku, We are In Trouble

Human rights lawyer Mr. Femi Falana (SAN) has lamented the possibility of Nigerians having to choose between current President Muhammadu Buhari and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar come 2019 general election, stating that it portends trouble for the populace.

Human rights lawyer Mr. Femi Falana (SAN) has lamented the possibility of Nigerians having to choose between current President Muhammadu Buhari and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar for the 2019 general election, stating that it portends trouble for the populace.
Mr. Falana said this while making a contribution during a panel discussion at the ongoing Lagos Book and Arts Festival holding in Freedom Park, Lagos.
He urged Nigerians to make use of the internet in raising serious developmental issues as regards the future of the country.

The human right lawyer also took a swipe at Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State who he described as a ‘Trump’.
“We have a Trump in Ekiti. Somebody is going out there to eat boli with the people. Somebody who says [he believes] in stomach infrastructure, stealing all the money but giving people just some tokenism and he is being celebrated."
He decried the rot in the Nigerian university system. “Where are the intellectuals in our universities?” he asked. “We now have ‘yahoo-yahoo’ professors. People are made professors now because of where the came from. It is not about your contribution to the intellectual enterprise. Now Vice Chancellor is elected on the basis of ethnicity."
Mr. Falana also condemned spiritual leaders who are merely concerned about building a more religious home at the expense of other institutions.
“Most of the richest pastors in the world are from Nigeria, yet our people are getting poorer. If many of us had not attended mission schools built by the Catholics and the Anglicans… school and hospitals but what are we building now? What are our churches giving us? They are promising to build churches in every street. All the warehouses in Apapa built by Awolowo have all become churches and business centers."

Senate still presses on scraping of post utme

The Senate has also called for the development of a strategy that would ensure the efficiency and integrity in the conduct of JAMB examination.
The resolutions of the Senate Tuesday followed a motion by Senator Umaru l. Kurfi, APC, Katsina Central and entitled, “The Need to revisit the regulatory conflict between Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Universities in offering admission in Nigeria.”

Divorce Your Wife If She Has No Womb’ – Apostle Suleman Gives Reasons For Marriage Dissolution

Controversial televangelist, Apostle Suleman has said if a marriage is contracted on falsehood, divorce is not a crime in the sight of God.
The General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman over the weekend gave some reasons why a marriage can be dissolved.
According to him, any man that is impotent or a woman who has no womb and gets married without telling the truth before the marriage is a liar, and divorce in that situation is not a sin.
Suleman is quoted as saying:

“People pretend and live in bondage but I will say the truth the way it is, you entered a marriage with someone who has told you a destiny lie. A lady has no womb and hid it from you, a man is impotent and never told, and you entered a marriage with each other, please get out.
“Because before the sight of God that is not marriage that is deception, it is not divorce.
“What I am saying here is that he or she did not tell you before marriage but if he or she did and you decide to pray about it then it’s not an issue but when he or she lies about it then it is deception, get out of that marriage.”

I Will Not Go On Exile-Nnamdi Kanu Finally Speaks

The embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu has declared that he will not embark on an exile following threats of his rearrest by the federal government.
Kanu also said that the IPOB is the most vibrant and intelligent mass movement in the world today.

He said the IPOB or himself cannot be intimidated into hiding by the federal government.
This was made known in a statement released by the media and publicity secretary Emma Powerful.
The statement read;

“Our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has made it abundantly clear to all and sundry that he is NOT going on exile as a result of these childish threats from Hausa Fulani dominated Nigeria Government.”
Powerful said the focus of the leadership of the group is to restore the freedom of Biafra and nothing short of that.
Powerful also said;

“IPOB family members worldwide under the command and leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu remain nonviolent, irrespective of the well documented brutal killings of unarmed peaceful demonstrators, abductions, torture, illegal detentions and summary executions of detainees by the Hausa Fulani Islamic run Nigeria Police and Army.”

”IPOB remains impregnable and no man born of a woman can stop the agitation for Biafra restoration. Until the Hausa Fulani Islamic Nigeria Government fix a date for referendum to settle the issue of Biafra in a civilized and democratic manner, this raging agitation led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will continue.

”With the situation on ground today concerning Biafra freedom, we pity the APC Party and Nigerian Government led by Major General Muhammadu Buhari for choosing the uncivilized path of brute force and intimidation as opposed to referendum.

”We urge every Biafran, no matter where you are, to remain resolute and strong because Biafra is tantalizingly closer than we expect. It is crystal clear that IPOB led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is ordained by (Chukwu Okike Abiama) God Almighty which no man can stop. We are winning this battle,” Powerful added.

He further added that contrary to claims that Kanu has gone into hiding for fear of being rearrested, Kanu fears no human on earth and await the federal government to carry out its plan.
“Major General Muhammadu Buhari and his APC band of thugs should be the ones hiding from IPOB not us from them. It is unfortunate that some people in Arewa North do not know who Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is hence they keep coming up with laughable fabrications designed to demystify our leader, to no avail.

”Mazi Nnamdi Kanu they privately acknowledge, knows no fear and is undeterred by side rantings of the vocal parasitic few, who cannot imagine their existence without crude oil money coming from Biafraland.

”This wicked lie and malicious fabrication is the work of the enemies of Biafra, who enjoy their perfect slave status and will remain servants to Arewa North all their lives,” Powerful said.
